The Colored Gem Research Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as CGRL) was established in the 21st century. The laboratory was founded in order to provide professional Identification and consulting services for those who were specializing in jewelry trade, design and jewelry enthusiasts, as well as increase the general public's knowledge and appreciation of gemstones.
For a professional jewelry laboratory, in addition to sophisticated equipment and a huge database, experienced gemologists are also indispensable. The team of gemologists in the CGRL is composed of gemologists with many years of experience in gem identification. Every gemstone that enters the CGRL is given a fair opinion or result by experienced gemologists, using sophisticated instruments and then passing rigorous testing procedures.
But in addition to the identification and origin analysis of colored gemstones, the CGRL also provides services such as jade identification, precious metal content analysis and diamond grading. The appraisal report issued by CGRL is mainly written in English or Chinese, but if necessary, translations in other languages can be provided.
